The aforementioned books were created with legendary NBA coach Pat Riley. The latter book was the #15 best selling nonfiction book of 1993.

Byron was formerly editor-in-chief for a Los Angeles publishing marketing firm, serving also as Director of Corporate Communications. He won a Maggie Award (Western Association of Magazine Publishers), and has freelanced for Rolling Stone, The Los Angeles Times, California Business, and other national and local publications.

Byron Laursen is well-known for his kindness and social consciousness. He served in the Peace Corps in Micronesia and uplifts humanitarian endeavors.  His lovely wife Theresa and their two pups Hazelnut and Annie delight his life. Byron and Theresa radiate courage, compassion and love to all.
